Zippered Cover and Two Contour Pillows included with Twin XL 4 Inch Soft Sleeper 5.5 Visco Elastic Memory Foam Mattress Topper USA Made

Zippered cover is the cheapest fabric imaginable (polyester tricot, very, very thin) and cheaply made (but in the USA). I had to trim serged seam-ending strands from every seam, and some were caught in the zipper. Cover's label was marked "Twin" and so I feared it was not an XL which I needed. The cover is adequate to keep the foam clean, but I would have preferred better fabric. The zippered cover is the main reason I chose this particular item. The memory foam topper was not marked as to size, and so I had to unpack it to determine whether it was actually an XL twin. It would have been impossible to re-pack it to send back if there was a problem. However, both items were Twin XL and so I was relieved. Mattress topper is not tan-colored as the picture seems to indicate, it's a very normal off-white. Be aware, before you panic, that memory foam items need time to expand to their full size, sometimes several days. The items were packaged in a vacuum-seal plastic wrap, but a lot of tape was used to bind the plastic shut. It made getting the topper out difficult, and the tape makes recycling the plastic more difficult. The pillows are quite small, but I have purchased another mattress topper before and I knew that. After about 15 hours after removing from their wrap they measure 20"x14.5" Too small for a normal pillowcase, and not useful for someone with wide shoulders, as memory foam collapsed under pressure. Including these is a waste of earth's resources. All in all, I got exactly what I wanted at a price that was very reasonable (about $85). It is difficult to find items for a twin XL bed, and I was happy to find this set.
