Bigger and also better
Got these as an upgrade so some very old cheaper M-Audio powered monitors, and my two unoriginal notes are: - These things are much, much bigger and heavier than I expected. I should have expected it given the reviews. I was still surprised. I'll have to rearrange some things to get these at the right level and orientation. - These sound amazing. I'm hearing nuances and details that I'd never noticed before in music I've listened to countless times. Very excited to enjoy them for years to come.

Our studio had a facility full of Adams and we sold them to get these
In our studio, we've had monitors from all brands - Adam, Neumann, Focal, PMC, ATC, you name it. But absolutely nothing compares to these from Monoprice. We keep a pair of Neumanns in the main room where we see clients just to impress them, but everything we churn out for recording and mastering is using these SV28s here. They're peerless in the industry.

Thank you Monoprice for these AWESOME monitors!
I've worked in studios and live sound for 30+ years and I've heard many studio monitors in various price ranges. I've never actually been able to get a set for myself until now. It's a perfect case of "A cobblers children have no shoes.". For the price I was expecting junk but I thought it was worth a try. The 10" subwoofer was delivered first and the monitors were slow to arrive. After a quick setup and calibration I turned on some tunes and sat back in awe. With all balanced inputs the signal to noise ratio is very good and the overall sound was accurate enough to bring tears to my eyes. I FINALLY have decent studio monitors of my own! Thank you Monoprice for exceeding my every expectation.
