Sturdy bed!
Everything about this bed is great. My son picked it out so he could have his friends sleep over on the trundle bed. It is a pretty sturdy bed. I used a 6 inch twin mattress for the trundle part and I'm not sure a bigger mattress would fit. For the main mattress I used a 10 inch twin mattress. The instructions aren't terrible but they aren't great either. They could be much better. I did put a few pieces together incorrectly and then figured it out and had to take it apart and fix it. Which is a pain. Just pay attention to what the next couple steps will ask you to do and make sure the holes line up with the next couple steps.

Putting the bed together is okay. I LOVE the color and the drawers! My kids (for who I bought this bed for) love it as well. I only gave four stars because the head and foot board has that hollow sound when you bang it with your fist. Everytime I push the trundle bed back and it hits either the head or foot board, it make s that hollow sound as if the wood is not sturdy. Overall, we love it.

nice bed . wasn't to hard to put together.. only bad thing was the wheel to pull out the bed falls off alot .its a pain to keep putting it back on .other then that I haven't had any problems and had it for about 5 months now
