Took me about 4 hours to put together. Good quality solid wood but pre-cut wood slats for mattress support were inconsistent cut. Some were perfect length some were shorter. I spent most time during this process to try to make it work which was frustrating since it was supposed to be easiest part. Overall I think it's a good piece of furniture for the price.

Great bed!

The bed is a great quality bed. You MUST have a power drill to assemble bed, you will have to drill holes in bed in some cases to fit screws and build the pull out portion of bed. After the labor of building the bed my son LOVES it and sleeps well.
