A coffee from an fascinating coffeemaker!

This automatic coffeemaker has some unique "pour over" style of features which will help you make an exceptional cup of coffee every time. The pros: -It looks awesome. The water tank lights up as the unit brews and clicks off when done. -It's a smaller footprint at 10.5" x 10.5" and 14" tall. It fits well under the cabinets. -You can automatically "bloom/pre-soak" the grounds to release the best flavor. -You can brew your coffee a standard 185 degrees "hot" or a 200 degrees "extra hot": the higher temperature will release the best taste from your beans. -The built in features of the coffeemaker will take your desired pot size, bloom, brew strength (mild to bold) and water temperature to suggest the amount of grounds to use...and then WEIGHS them as you add them in the built in scale. -The brew basket is glass...this one is HUGE for those of us who want to avoid our daily cup of joe brewing through plastic. You can brew your coffee without the plastic pot lid and without the brew basket plastic "collar" so that the only plastic your coffee has touched is the hot water that comes out of the shower head. The cons: -The brew basket is open to the air. ---This means setting up the machine the night before a bit of drag because your beans are open to the air all night. This isn't a problem for me because I grind fresh every time but for some it'll be a deal breaker. ---This also means that you'll get little splashes of coffee water on the counter around the unit as it brews. I knew this would be a "thing" even before I bought the coffeemaker. To correct this, I shaped a piece of silicone mat and cut a hole the size of the shower head to place over the basket as it brews. Fixed! -Some have complained that software used to set up brewing isn't intuitive. I didn't have a problem with it: the unit has a set menu it always follows and once you use it a few times, you're good. In fact, the coffeemaker will remember the last pot you made so when you turn it on, just let it run its menu and then add grounds, water and voila! -Some have said the unit is loud as it brews. Eh, not so bad but if you need a super quiet coffeemaker, this might not be it. -Some have said that the exposed brew basket means a lot of steam during brewing. Yep. Pull it forward from under the cabinets when brewing. You always have steam from a coffeemaker though. -If you always "steal" a cup of coffee from the pot as it brews, you probably won't like this unit: there is no way to STOP the flowing coffee from the brew basket. You're supposed to turn the basket from left to right so the flow goes into the plastic collar / cup it sits in. Better remember to turn it back to the left (and quickly) or you're gonna have coffee going everywhere EXCEPT the pot. This is not a problem for my house but may be for yours. Other than a lack of a brew basket lid, this is the prefect coffeemaker for my family.

Replace your old Coffee Maker with this Pour-Over!

I could not enjoy a cup of coffee more than with this pour over machine. We were doing it by hand but after discovering this automatic machine decided to give it a try. The brew is consistently wonderful and leaves behind NO sediment. As good as if we did it ourselves and saves us the actual time of doing it.
