Love the different light modes.

My husband has wanted a small aquarium for a while now and this seemed like the perfect solution for him. He has it on top of his dresser in the bedroom and it works well. We love the different light modes(sunlight moonlight twilight and midnight). it does not have a sealed top like the 3 gal shadowbox tank does but there seems to be minimal spray from the pump. It is perfect for a betta and several(no more than 3 or 4) small glow fish. It does not come with gravel so we had to buy that since it just didn't look right without it. And it took a few phone calls to find a pet store in the area that actually had the glow fish in stock. But once it was set up and running hubby was just over the moon. It is a great little tank and the lighting adds nice ambiance to the room.

Our favorite desktop aquarium!

We have gone through a few desktop sized aquariums and this one is by far our favorite. Its glass so has a premium look and you don't have to worry about it cracking as easily as the glass one. The filtration is great and you can also hide a heater in the overflow. There are multiple light options but don't forget to only use part of the day or you will start getting algae on your plants and gravel.
