Based on another review, I thought this didn't have a base- it does have a base! The base kind of hooks into these metal loops at the bottom. Its a little wobbly because of how its made but not so wobbly its going to collapse on its own- it can completely collapse for storage which I see as a bonus. I love the color and it's a perfect fit for my space!

The only issue is that the cloth bag inside isn't secured by anything. When you put laundry inside, the cloth collapses. There needs to be something inside to hold the cloth up.
