These appear to be 100% copper as advertised, and are a beautiful rich color. They come in a decent box with a tiny mini cup, four leather coasters, and some copper straws and straw cleaners. I'm delighted. I was shocked to see another reviewer complain about what happens if you leave drink sitting in these overnight. It's copper - a real and natural material. You have to take care of it. And there are scrub powders that can deal with tarnishing. That said, we've left water in these and nothing has happened. If you are looking for hammered pure copper cups for the health benefits (i.e. to cleanse toxic iron from the body) this is a good choice. If you just want that childhood feeling of drinking from metal cups on a cold day, these are great for that too. If you are looking for something beautiful to have in your home, these are especially recommended for that purpose.
