Very comfortable

I was timid in ordering this bed as I was confused as to how a firm enough mattress would feel when it comes in a bag a little bigger than a sleeping bag. But to my surprise it did. It is deceptively heavy. It comes two wrappings. Once you take the black packing off you will see the clear plastic. Once those are cut away and you lay it out it starts to expand and look more like a mattress. It took ours just over two hours to come to complete fullness. As for the feel, I wanted to wait a few more weeks to review this product as it is a bed and all sorts of other factors can go into a bed. We have very young children that still wake up in the middle of the night. My wife is pregnant and gets up often to use the bathroom. All that to say I wanted to get more time to see how it felt. I have never had a memory foam mattress before. The only negative that we have found it when you simply sit on the bed you sink in more than a regular mattress. When it is time to go to sleep I was worried that as it is memory foam that it wouldn't let you toss and turn. As this is sort of the case I have had several nights of sleep where i only woke up for the kids. It took a while, as it would with any NEW mattress, to get used to it but we love it and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Unusual way to receive a mattress!

Just received my new Doze 11-inch Mattress yesterday, and was very suprised the way it came. It was rolled up and compressed into a large cyclinder bag, heavy, and hard to get removed out of the nylon bag. I had to allow 24 hours for my mattress to regain its full shape before I could even sleep on it. It had 8-sided handles which did make it easier to position on the bed frame and a very nice quilted knitted pillow top cover! Once I was able to finally make the bed and be able to sleep on it, I slept extremely well. It offers contouring comfort and head to toe support. The layers comprised of memory foam and the encased innerspring coils kept my spine aligned during the night, which I contributed to no backache this morning!! The mattress comes with a 10 year Warranty, but the only thing that I didn't like was that they stated you can not use an electric blanket or heating pad for long periods of time as it can damage the mattress.

Great mattress

Let me start off by saying I received this mattress for free in order to do a review and all I can say is wow. It's a nice mattress. It comes machine rolled in a durable plastic bag which is really neat. I had to drag the bag from outside and the mattress was unaffected. The mattress came with a slight odor but upon letting it sit for 24 hours the odor disappeared. Please keep in mind this isn't a thousand-dollar Tempur-Pedic, but it's a good mattress and it's not a thousand dollars. Coming from my eight-year-old mattress it's incredibly comfortable and I haven't noticed heat being a problem but I do keep my thermostat pretty low. The memory foam is firm but not super hard, and it contours to the body. I had back surgery over a decade ago and usually prefer to sleep on a couch but this bed has changed that. I'm only waking up once or twice throughout the night instead of every hour. I'm enjoying this bed and would say it's well worth the money. I slept on it twice without a mattress pad before putting the mattress pad on it and I've slept great on it with both configurations. I personally think it's more comfortable than a turf and needle.
