I love this bed and it really brought my boys room to life. I've gotten so many compliments on their bed. It was easy to assemble and yes there is not boards or anything but it's a floor bed hence no need for boards. My boys are very playful and rough so this is exactly what I needed for them.

We really love this bed, it's exactly what we were looking for and matches the theme of our daughters room perfectly! I love that it can grow with her, we have just a mattress now but plan to raise it with a box spring as she adjusts. She loves her ‘big girl bed.' I do wish the brackets that hold the middle beam were closed on 3 sides rather than 2 for extra support. The box arrived absolutely destroyed so we were happy all of pieces were in tact. The screws were also all together in one bag and each unlabeled so putting the bed together got a little frustrating as we had to keep ‘guess and checking' on the hardware but overall we are really happy with our purchase and so is our little one!
