Raise and lower the table top manually (requires two people) along the four telescoping legs, locking it into place with the four screw-in locking knobs. The table top features a thick, heavy-duty hardwood work surface that's sealed with a clear polyurethane coating. Built with industrial-strength steel, the frame is engineered for strength and durability and is protected with an epoxy powder-coat. Unit comes with large, rubber-padded leveling feet for added stability wherever you are. Designed for multifunctional use, the top measures a convenient 4 feet wide and 2 feet long (48" x 24"); making it ideal for use in the home, garages, workshops, offices, laundry rooms, bedrooms and kitchens. Take advantage of the 1000 lbs. load capacity to work with heavy-duty projects or for storing heavyweight items. Combine with other Seville Classics UltraHD® products to complete your total organization system.

I have already bought the 6' version and wanted the 4' for another area of my sewing room. I set the tables to the full height of 42" and they are perfect for my embroidery machines so I can work on them while standing up. Nice and solid surface and far cheaper than purpose made sewing tables.
