These chairs are exactly what we needed for our game room! I've added a pic of my 9 year old for size reference (he is 4'6” tall). The chairs arrive with the air sucked out and ready to be rocked and rolled all over the house to break up the foam chunks. I absolutely LOVE that the filled it with memory foam chunks rather than the traditional “bean” filling. If they ever end up busting I won't need to worry about that crazy styrofoam mess! The zipper cover DOES come off, in theory, but only with a lot of effort as it has a double zipper construction. That is another plus in my book as the kids can't “accidentally” decide to explore the guts of the chairs. Color is as advertised and honestly, they are so comfortable and soft! I am 5'1” and can also sit comfortably on them.
