Double-sided awesomeness!!!

It’s 100% cotton. Not only is it thick with beautiful rough texture, it holds water really well and it is also DOUBLE SIDED! I fell in love with the texture right away. I tried to paint on both sides. You can hardly tell you’re painting on the reverse side! And considering there was already a painting on the one side, painting on the reverse side didn’t even make the paper buckle so much (I taped it down, still). I was pretty impressed at how much water the paper could hold. Definitely a must have!

A great watercolor paper

The paper in this pad is excellent. It is great for wet on wet. It absorbs water, not too much, enough for me to attempt wet on wet techniques. The quality is so professional it makes the cheapest watercolor look good. The watercolor papers by Arteza is a great investment.
