The author holds a bachelor of science in mathematics from Denison University and a juris doctor from Case Western Reserve University. Following graduation from law school, he served in the Judge Advocate Corps of the US Air Force from January 1968 through December 1971. Upon completion of his military service, he practiced law for forty-five years in Wooster, Ohio.
