Pacifica Island Art uses an environmentally-friendly Unryu Japanese rice paper made by the Awagami Factory in Tokushima, Japan. Unryu, which translates to 'cloud dragon paper' in Japanese, features long strands of kozo fiber and is made from natural mulberry and hemp fibers using traditional Japanese Washi techniques - ABOUT THE ARTIST - Géo Ham (Georges Hamel) - Géo Ham, Georges Hamel (1900 – 1972) was a French painter and illustrator. He is known for his illustrations of aeroplanes or automobiles which appeared in L'Illustration. In 1918, he was received at the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs. He was appointed as an Official Peintre de l'Air in 1931.
