This is a nice big bed for my dog that lives outside. I put it on the porch, and I put a pad on top of it so that he's comfortable. In the summer, I remove t he pad and he can just lie directly on the bed, as it is very breathable. I would say it's difficult to put together, when it comes to Vecroing the pad around the bar. I had to undo the long bar, then Velcro the pad to the short bar, THEN put the long bar back together. I could not stretch the pad around the short bar without doing it this way. So they need to make the pad a little longer to make it easier to attach the Velcro section to the short bar.

The product is ok at best. There were no instructions to put it together. I had to refer to a picture on internet. The pieces are easy to figure out but the fitting of fabric is not aligned properly hence there is a lot of puling and tugging to get it together. Once together it is fine but not recommended for easy traveling. I personally don't think it was worth the money.
