Bought this for my elderly mother for Christmas. She loves it. Battery operated is easier for her so she doesn't have to plug and unplug. The timer feature is wonderful, she said it works perfectly. I also gave her a supply of extra batteries so she is set. The pink tree is so pretty, my mothers favorite color.

This was an actual in store purchase, and it is really cute. I have a green vintage version that was my grandmother's. But I have a question about this one. Although it IS TOTALLY ACCEPTABLE, I'm wondering if there is a significance to the single lonely little purple light at the top while the rest of the tree's lights are blue, red,green, and yellow? Could make for a really cute Christmas story...lol
