6 color class pack: blue, rust, green - CL, blue-gray - CL, straw and ivory beige. Beautiful glazes with a smooth, stone-like appearance when fired to cone 05 (1915°F). Colors will flow slightly, settling into nooks and crevices. On a textured surface, they produce an antiqued, weathered look. Because they move slightly, care should be taken when applying glaze to the bottom of the piece so that it does not stick to the shelf during firing. These glazes look best when applied over a Cone 04 bisque firing. They provide excellent results when used in combination with any Amaco clay! When applied over Sedona Red Clay #67, the clay showing through contrasts and blends with the glaze color and the entire piece is enriched by warm undertones. Recommended firing is Cone 05; however, they can be fired Cone 06 to Cone 04. Pint jars. AP Seal, non-toxic except where noted, which are CL - Cautionary Label: Restricted from use with children in grade 6 or below. All colors are free of lead and cadmium, but are not recommended for surfaces that come in contact with food because of the soft or crackle nature of the glazes.
