This chair is cushioned nicely and the back of the chair sits right at the lower back making it very comfortable. The look is perfect for a vanity and takes up very little space. The only difficulty was putting the back onto the seat with the allen wrench provided. The area was tight making it difficult to turn the allen wrench. Nice chair and worth the money.
