Love this trash can! It looks very high-end and clean. Trash cans are all overpriced in my opinion so that's the only downside. It works great and the amount of time the lid stays open is perfect. I will say for anyone about to order this, the top of the lid has almost a wood-looking plastic. I have no idea how to explain it, but just wanted to let you know the whole trash can is not stainless steel, just the bottom part :) It's the best trash can I've had though! You should buy it

Just wave your hand and it opens and then closes on its own. Four AA batteries provide the power and will last for about a year. And it has a light which activates when your batteries get low. i highly recommend this product!
