Originally I had used a different brand. But that brand as it turns out was putting an antibacterial coating on the bristles which was causing me lock jaw with a healed jaw injury I had had years ago. I FINALLY found these online. I contacted the company and they said, "No coating of any kind." I have been using two different sizes for the last week. They work great. AND so far no lock jaw or jaw pain of any kind. Very easy to use. While I do still floss and do a salt rinse, I find these to be easier and more convenient to use then floss. But I use it all right now: flossing, one size of the sizes of TEPE, 3 minute brushing, other size of TEPE (you'd be surprised how much food still comes out when at this point of my routine), then a salt rinse. I bought this specific pack to see what sizes I need. I have since ordered larger packets of the 2 sizes that I need and like. I have been using mine for a week now. They are still in good shape....not needing to be replaced all the time.
