I knew before I purchased this hybrid phone case / billfold, that the actual phone case didn't detach from the billfold. But the whimsical, humorous design won me over. If you don't mind holding your entire 'folio' up to your face when talking on the phone, or the fact that this product makes it hard to use the camera or flashlight this may work for you. The material is great and easy to wipe down, and the magnet holds it shut pretty well, but I will primarily use it for a billfold after finding that it is just too awkward to use for a phone. The kickstand example they show does not work, (they show the phone standing while resting on the change purse). It just slides down.
