Great TV with room for improvement.

Good: Fantastic QLED screen. A single silver/transparent cable between screen and separate One Connect Box for data and power, as with very large Q85/Q90 TVs, is a really good invention. It does not look like a TV; easy to install with full kit included. Stunning Art (hi-res screen savers), but only 20 images included (free). Very easy to upload own photos with mobile. Good Apps (incl. MetOpera, Apple TV). Improvements: NO AMBIENT MODE!!!! Can delete channels, but cannot re-order. No 'No Mount' option for your own photos. LIMITED mount colours (should have a GRADIENT colour bar for different colours, rather than fixed colours to choose). Subscription is expensive long term, and picture buying option is also expensive. Previous model had many more free pictures. I would buy again because of the Frame design and the single cable. Disappointed by the lack of Ambient Mode, and fixed mount colour options.

Great TV

Having read an earlier negative review on this website I nearly didn't buy the Frame as I primarily wanted to display my own photos using the Mounts. I thought I'd go ahead and buy it anyway and return it if I couldn't do this. It turns out it is quite easy to do so using the Samsung SmartThings app - you can add you own photos, resize and crop them, and choose your mount and the colour of the mount. The app certainly isn't perfect and could do with some improvements and bug-fixes (it often has trouble connecting to the TV when saving photos and you have to press the save button several times when this happens) but it does work. I've attached a picture of the TV with one of my photos on display as an example. If you have a Mac then it's easy to display your screen using AirPlay 2 - we use this a lot to share screens. The TV itself is fine but the picture is not as good quality as the (top of the range) Q9 so if you don't plan on using the Frame features then consider the higher end Q9 TVs instead.

Perfect blend of TV and photo and artwork display

We are so pleased that we bought the QLED Frame which we wanted having reviewed many similar products. The bonus for us was dding a Samsung sound bar - brilliant added extra.
