Whole House Pre Filter

I didn't know how long the pre-filters worked before having to be changed. My bad - I hadn't changed it since I had the filters installed several years ago. So I ordered the set of four and proceeded to change the filter. OMG the current filter was so black, I couldn't believe it - thankfully the container that holds it was easy enough to get off since I couldn't find the wrench that accompanied the pro-install kit I ordered. I also ordered the post filter, but that was harder to change since the holder was on too tightly. I had to order a wrench to get it off and now I know how long to wait between changes and can enjoy the perfect water I started out with!
