I have to say I have purchased at least five of these in the last couple of years and after the first few weeks they come apart at the treads where the pen screws together to put the batteries in. It is very cheaply made of a light aluminum alloy and basically while I love the design and the usefulness, they're usable for only a few weeks and then you have to throw it away because they come apart and can no longer be connected. In addition there is an ugly laser warning label that they stick across the top that cannot be removed.
