I went by reviews as to the size, but I should have gotten 1 size smaller. My dog is a 4 lb Chihuahua, always a thin dog no matter what I feed him. I went with a medium, but its too big. I have had to take them in. The quality is very good for the price, with nice color and shape. I wish I hadn't bought 3, because I would have gone back and gotten more in a smaller size.
