Hallmark KOB1211 I'm Thankful for You Recordable Storybook

I like the book itself, but the recording of me reading it didn't work. I followed instructions and tried multiple times and even tried taking out the batteries it came with and replacing them with brand new ones. I didn't work for me. One thing that wasn't clear on the instructions is whether you push button to "save" after reading each page, or wait till you've read them all to move the button to "save." I tried it both ways and it didn't work either way. If you turn to page to hear what you recorded it will read a different page. I tried re-recording each page multiple times, but It didn't work for me. I am returning it for a refund.
