Love it!

I am very excited to use my Double Garden Bed Cold Frame this spring. I start my garden plants in the house and by the beginning of May a lot of the plants are touching the grow lights in my 4 tiered shelving unit. This year I'll be able to set my trays out in my new cold frame so they can properly be hardened off. Once the garden has been planted I plan on filling the Cold Frame with petunias for a colorful display at the edge of my flower beds.

Definitely a Challenge

Had to cut 1/4” off one short side of the top plastic panel. It was too long for the frames.. Top plastic panel was a pain getting it into the back top frame slot. Slightly difficult getting the frame pieces into the plastic corners. Make SURE you lock the frame pieces into the plastic corners properly. Have painter's blue tape handy if you are putting it together by yourself. Helps hold panels to frame as you work. Front top plastic corner pieces were shaped in a weird angle (not straight) which made putting in the front panel difficult. Will probably have to caulk the frame to the front panel to keep the panel from slipping out of the top front frame since corners are screwy and frame pieces do not sit flush in the plastic corners due to tension caused by ill-fitting plastic corners. Diagrams in instructions could use some improvement.

Not quite what we thought

Hard to put together, roof hinge bent in first big windy day, not near as sturdy as needed which was surprising with all the screws we had to put in.
