- Don't forget to buy that HDMI cable that plugs IN to the wallplate!Important Note about Resistance: Due to the added resistance introduced when an HDMI switch, connector, adapter, wall-plate, or splitter is used, we recommend the use of THICKER (higher gauge) HDMI cables.� Our HDMI Extreme cables that are 24 AWG cables (compared to our regular 28 AWG cables) are are ideal for use with these HDMI devices. When using LONGER lengths (ie 25ft or greater), use 22 AWG cable ONLY.
Important Note for 3D TVs and v1.4 Support of HDMI with Ethernet: Although these adapters were originally manufactured and tested to meet ATC v1.3 specifications, our manufacturer has confirmed that they will ALSO meet any future HDMI revisions, including but not limited to v1.4. They are FULLY compable with 3D technologies
