The bag fits my laptop perfectly (I use an Asus Vivobook) and fits inside of my suitcase that I will bring with me to and from my college campus. Overall the inner lining is also very soft and helps protect my laptop from damage! It also arrived 6 days early which I was very surprised and grateful for. However, bear in mind that the outside fabric is water resistant, not waterproof. I intentionally spilled a few droplets of water over the bag and rubbed it in to see if it would repel the droplets. When the water first fell, it remained as droplets on the surface until I intentionally rubbed it in with my hand — absorbing a bit of the water. Make sure that if you plan to purchase this item you are aware that it is water *resistant* and not waterproof! It won't be a problem for me since it'll be protected inside of my suitcase, but if I were to carry it around outside I would be worried. The only other problem I encountered was attaching the straps to turn it into a bag. It was difficult to attach it onto the side handles but it does attach and stay on — since the parts that attach to the metal bits are very hard plastic in the shape of a lobster claw that has heavy resistance to force. The pockets are also in their own little compartment which is good if you want to carry a portable charger or your phone with it so it's not colliding and causing friction with the laptop itself in the main pocket. Amazing quality for its price overall.
