The Hex Bar is a great addition

The Hex Bar is a great addition to my weightlifting set; it's properly balanced and weighted. However, the grips on the bar are too aggressive and cut too deep, making it difficult to hold under a heavy load. It feels as if the knurling is cutting into my hands. I don't use gloves, so I applied black electrical tape to cushion the grips, which also allows me to use lifting straps more comfortably since the sharp grooves make it hard to get a solid grip. Outside of that, I'm satisfied with the product.
