It's a perfect fit for a small den/office displaying photos of my family, some knick knacks & a plant. The height is perfect as the room has a high ceiling & it's on the wall next to a leather luggage color loveseat. So pleased that I was capable of understanding the instructions as they were very easy to follow even though I'm in my late 80's. I'm just so happy to walk into that room now, as the bookshelf is a perfect fit & I love the openness of the unit on all sides & can finally display my favorite things.

I bought this for my 8 year old son's room just hoping it would look nice enough and be substantial enough to get him through the next couple of years. What I received far exceeded my expectations. This thing is heavy and well built. While the shelves aren't real wood, I am not worried they won't hold up to the "treasures" he wants to put on display (think rock collection and lego builds). It looks great, and my older daughters are begging for a set or two for their room as well.
