This NECA 2 pack is a fantastic addition for fans of the original 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, capturing the quieter moments of the film rather than just the ninja action. The standout feature is the incredible likeness to the actors, April O'Neil looks exactly like Judith Hoag and the unmasked Casey Jones captures Elias Koteas perfectly. Instead of their usual city fighting gear, they are dressed in the casual clothes they wore while hiding out at the country farmhouse, which gives them a unique look compared to other figures on the shelf (looking at you, Shredder!) In terms of play and display, the set comes with some great movie specific accessories, including Aprils sketchbook with the drawing of Leonardo, a wrench, a hammer, and even a bottle of wax (always need your turtle wax!). Casey features updated arm joints that allow for natural poses, though Aprils skirt does make it a bit hard to move her legs. Overall, while these aren't the most dynamic action figures, the attention to detail and realistic sculpting make this set a must have for anyone trying to complete the full cast of the 1990 movie.
