Great Buy.
I purchased the first model of these headphones (AV50) and I've found that the AV52 model has improved on noise cancellation. My moderate hearing loss has made it difficult to understand words, especially when combined with music. These headphones, when noise cancellation is turned on, accentuates voices.

There have been many changes made since the A50.. More options. I prefer the simplicity of the original AR50 for resting/sleeping with an audiobook the AR52 are slightly heavier & more compressing to wear but the payoff if improved audio experience & noise canceling. I love them both. I am confident also in the technical help & customer service provided by ZVOX

Bought these for my wife mainly for airline travel. I had already purchased the original AV50 for myself a couple of years ago and quite liked them. We've been on a couple of flights now and my wife has greatly appreciated the noise canceling effects of the headphones. I like some of the features that have been added to the AV52 model but I like the way my AV50's fold up into a shallower case better than the thicker case of the AV52's.
