Little House on the Prairie: The Complete Series (Deluxe Edition) (DVD)

Thrilled I found this! I paid extra because this is one of those series that every edition released in the US has flaws - discs or the housing/both. Now that the show is flawlessly remastered, the issue of storage (just as important) is a big deal. Single season DVD cases, book style w/ flip pages for each disc are best. The latest US Lionsgate release has these shiny, flimsy cardboard holders housed in a larger box. I hunted for something different and found Walmart selling LHOP Via Vision version (Region 0 for US players but box is marked R4 - they will play) from a trusted vendor. I have many TV series from VVE/Australia because they sell all their DVD sets single case format only. In this LHOP version, there are 11 cases, 9 for the seasons and 2 for extras. Well worth the extra $20. Glad WM thought outside the 'box' to offer us an alternative at a reasonable price. Also, never a broken case from VVE no matter what series I have purchased. Their DVD cases stand up to travel. Very happy!!!
