Absolutely rugged well made fasteners!

I love these screws and worked excellent to bond 2 1 1/2" lvls together. They are approved by state of Maine for this purpose. They drive well all the way in, no binding up and they are self drilling.. These pulled slightly bowed lvls right together. The construction is very heavy, these are not like drywall screws that I use for everything. The drive on these are star or torx. A torx driver bit is included in the box because your torx bits will not fit these screws. The head and torx holes are just huge, these are no joke fasteners! Highly recommend, much better than nailing like crazy out of your beam which does not hold as good as these and these won't shear easily at all !
