Thermostat Exactly as Represented Online

This product arrived in excellent packaging and condition. The plastic surrounding the thermostat is smooth and bright white and easy to clean. The numbers are clearly visible and slightly larger than our last one and clear to understand. We were happy to get it from Walmart at a lesser price than our furnace repair person was offering it. We believe it to be accurate. Highly recommend!

Easy to Use

I replaced a similar Honeywell with limited functionality. I was concerned about installing the new one myself but the instructions were very clear. To my surprise, my old Honeywell was wired the way this new one needed to be wired so all I had to do was plug it in and then program it. It's working very well for us now.

Good Thermostat

This is a good thermostat. Being able to use my phone to interact with the thermostat is a great help. If you are out of the house a lot, geofencing can be a nice feature. The scheduling is very good, you can create very detailed schedules or very simple ones. If it proves to be durable, it will be an extremely good thermostat. My ONLY complaint, and this is not unique to Walmart....the thermostat doesn't have a battery backup even though the listing says it does. My HVAC guy said it was because the thermostat draws too much power. I will find out what happens after a power outage, the next time we have one. I am hoping the most I have to set will be the date and time...if that.
