Elvie Stride Breast Pump

I was given this pump 5 weeks ago as a product tester and I am extremely happy with it! Prior to getting this pump I was using freemie cups during the day with a spectra s2 while at work. And spectra s1 with spectra parts at home. I exclusively pump, and began by using the elvie stride for my work pumps. I quickly realized I got better output and less clogged ducts, so I began using the elvie stride for all of my pump sessions, both at work and at home. I have been very pleased with this pump! I have used the spectra s1, spectra s2, spectra s9, and elvies, and I like the stride better than all of the alternatives!

I was introduced to Elvie through their curve as a more user friendly version of haaka. The Elvie stride naturally was the next step to enhance my pumping game! This little power house enables me to pump while at work as a nurse in the ICU. The unit automatically shuts off after 40 min which let me focus my attention to other matters while this pump did it's magic. I get comparable milk amounts from this pump as I do my Medela. While not totally unnoticeable, I felt comfortable enough to wear at work in my scrubs! No one ever hear it even when I was sitting right next to them. This pump gave me some of my dignity, independence, and freedom back. Pumping no longer required me to sit in a room by myself for 45 min distrusting my workflow. Placing the cups in your bra takes 5 min tops and removal take about the same. Clean up is a breeze, and there aren't 17 piece to put back together. This unit is very intuitively designed to be user friendly while also being sturdy. I never once felt like It was flimsy or not well made. At a more attractive price than Elvies truly cordless pumps, I'm glad I got them. Where had this been the first 8 months of pumping?! I am no longer required to be plugged into a wall to feed my baby while I'm away from home. An absolute game changer and sanity saver.
