No more taping or mounting pastel paper - these mounted boards are designed for easy use, storage and transport. Pastel Premier Conservation Board features quality sanded pastel paper that is mounted on a 4 ply conservation board, double-primed and coated with an aluminum oxide to produce an idea surface for pastel painting. The base paper is heavy 145 lb. (300 gsm), which withstands any measure of scrubbing and re-working. This versatile board accepts as many as 25 layers of pastel! It works well with oil and acrylic paints as well as colored pencils and other dry media.
