Heavy duty fabric and zipper, especially like the Velcro cuff straps. Can't really tell how warm it is though it should be more than enough as it's Early may now. I also like the detachable hood as they're times when I don't feel the need for one

Fake Velcro Pockets

I received this jacket and was disappointed when I went to look through the pockets. The two lower front "velcro" pockets are fake (see pictures) this was extremely disappointing and misleading. Part of the reason I got this coat was for those pockets. Since I have used the jacket, on three seperate occasions, I have lost my wallet as it fell out, my truck keys also fell out, and one of my gloves which fell out all due to the two side pockets not being deep enough and having a weird angle and really far back (again the reason I wanted the velcro enclosed pockets). I will be spending the extra $50 and purchasing the Rothco M-65 equivalent jacket as it has the real enclosed pockets. The size chart is also off as I purchased a different coat from this same company it was a 2XL and fit snug, therefore I purchased the 3XL here and it is way bigger the expected.
