Really lovely spoons!
These are beauties - just as they are. The quality of the wood is excellent. There is some slight variation between them, , making them look more rustic. The bowl of the spoons are quite smooth, the handles a bit more rough but not at all 'splintery'. Personally I intend to get some pure food grade carnauba wax to melt %26 apply a sealant %26 finish, rather than a shellac or similar sealant, it should hold up to hot food without any problems due to the very high melting point of carnauba.
