Made of type 316 stainless steel, these shoulder eye bolts are commonly used on boats or docks as a tie down loop. Their low maintenance and luster also make them popular for architectural applications. Shoulder eyebolts can be used for either straight line or angular lifts, since the shoulder helps support the load as it pulls at an angle. The eyes of the steel eye bolt can accomodate wire rope, shackles and other rigging supplies. Includes eye bolt, nut and washer. Please Note: Loading at an angle will significantly reduce a bolt's rated capacity; a 45 degree angle reduces it to just 1/4 of the stated rating. Never load at an angle greater than 45 degrees from the bolt center line.
