Do not recommend buying due to the loud buzzer.
The buzzer is awful. I was startled by it and thought something was wrong, it sounds like a fire alarm or something. Very loud and grating, I'd be surprised if my neighbors didn't hear it and wonder what was happening. I thought it would be a chime/ding, like on a rice cooker or toaster oven, but instead it's disruptive enough that I probably won't keep using this. It does cook eggs, but you have to pierce them, allows egg white out during cooking and water in when cooling. Main benefits are simplicity and reduced use of electricity and water. But the loud buzzer pretty much ruins it.

Cooked great but can't handle the timer buzzer.
The cooker does not shut off when cooking is done but instead sounds an ear piercing tone that's worse than a continus smoke detector alarm and it never shuts off until you turn off the power switch. I will probably return just because of this buzzer sound. It's insane. What were those engineers thinking!?
