Blackstone 1883 1883 Original 28 Griddle W/Hood Propane

So far so good. I watched some youtube videos on how to season it and followed their advice, which I think was good. After seasoning I've used it a few times and it has performed as I hoped. I think as long as I keep it clean and oiled it will be fine. So far I haven't found a good cover for it, which I think will be necessary, as even with the hood this object feels vulnerable to the elements. I hope I never leave it out in a storm. A few of the mounting holes for the side tables had the threads a little wonky but other than that the construction seems legit. Two positives worth noting: 1. Being propane, it's ready to go right away. We decided to have burgers last minute and like 15 minutes later we were eating burgers and they were good. Burgers on this griddle are fast and awesome. 2. The space. I fired this thing up after grilling some fajita meat and was able to cook up a ton of veggies on one side and cook/heat the tortillas on the other side and it was like a perfect companion to my charcoal grill. Kind of like having an outdoor stove if you want it to be. Overall I'm happy with it and would recommend it but I would include the warning that if not properly cared for, this object could be easily ruined by weather or lack of cleaning / seasoning / oiling. I don't feel like this is an object that you can leave out in the yard unused for 3 months getting rained on and what not (like I always do with my little weber).

Built well! Have tried brunch, chicken, ribeye steak sandwiches, & lots of vegetables so far...and it is the middle of winter in the northeast! Everything was great on the griddle. Can't wait to cook when the weather starts getting nicer.
