SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab A7 Lite 8.7" T225 LTE Android Tablet - Gray

Samsung has delivered again. This tablet is light weight and easy fory 91 year old Mother to hold.

This is a pretty good budget tablet, but you need to be aware of the compromises before buying it. It is well made, the back is metal and the buttons are would not look out of place on a much more expensive tablet. The screen is fine for watching YouTube videos or Netflix, but the low resolution (1340 x 800) and the fact that it is TFT rather than one of Samsung's Super AMOLED panels, means that it isn't as good as the more expensive Samsung tablets. I would have preferred a Full HD resolution, but you get what you pay for. The storage at 32 GB is OK and it is useful that you can add a MicroSD card if you need extra storage. I chose the LTE model as it is useful to have access to the Internet if I take it away from home. At 371g, it is not particularly light, but it is still very portable. The Tab A range is much cheaper than the Tab S range, so obviously corners have to be cut and there will be compromises. As long as you set your expectations at the right level, you will be very happy with the A7 Lite.
