Mainstays Geo Floral Single Blackout Curtain Panel

These are very beautiful, high quality curtains, for a very good price point. If I had seen these at another persons home I would have thought they were from a high end store. They have a beautiful, matte pattern on thick, smooth fabric and the back has a white thick cover for the light blocking capabilities. The white backing on these curtains seems better than others I have had in the past. They were not already sticking to itself when I took the panel out of the package. I prefer the way that these curtains hang from the rod rather than ones with the big metal grommets. I have some like that right now and they are all snagged because of the grommets, so these beauties are going to replace those. The curtain rod just slips through the top of the curtain, so no light is showing through. It is so nice when you are watching television that certain time of day. Well, no worries with these curtain panels, and they are 40 inches wide by 84 inches long, so they are perfect for my turn of the century home with very large windows. I have not had them long enough to know the longevity of them and I have not washed them yet either. So I can not comment on those subjects but I do not foresee a problem and look forward to many years of their beauty and utility. Needless to say, I am very happy with my new curtains, I feel they fancy up my home and match my already gray living room. I recommend these curtains to others without hesitation if you are in the market for a very nice curtain set.

I wasn't sure how these curtains were going to be, but they are heavy-duty, insulated-back drapes. A little long for my windows but they will do the job keeping a spare bedroom warm during the colder weather, as well as keeping it cooler in the summer. The pattern is also pretty and the color is very vibrant. The material seems very sturdy, although I noticed some of the stitching on the curtain rod pocket was not very well done. It was not coming out, but seemed like it was oversewn and not as neat as the rest of the stitching in that area. Overall, I like these drapes and would highly recommend them for anyone looking for insulated drapes.
