This point-of-use combo system can effectively filter out mineral ions such as sodium, calcium, iron, copper, chloride, sulfate, nitrates, phosphates, silica, and ammonia to deliver clean and spotless water to your water hose. Great product !
I started washing my cars again at home and the CWS-300 works great ! My water directly out of the hose bib reads 575 ppm. After running it through the CWS-300 it reads 0 ppm ! Perfect for a spot-free rinse ! I would absolutely recommend this product ! It makes drying the car effortless and leaves no residue. The only thing I can think of to make this product better would be if you installed petcocks at the bottom of the canisters so they could be easily drained if the unit is going to sit for a while.

From 360 ppm to 5 ppm TDS
I recommend this filter for car washing. We also use it for a spot free rents on our airstream. This system comes with an electronic TDS meter so you can test the water. For me my water started out at 360 ppm and after the filter, it was 5 ppm.
