Step5 Two types of high-pressure cutout switches. The single function switch interrupts compressor function if system pressure becomes too high. The dual function switch first engages the high-speed cooling fan in an attempt to lower pressure by increasing heat transfer at the condenser. However, if system pressure continues to rise after the fan has been engaged, then the switch will interrupt compressor operation
Step6 Holding the clutch hub with suitable tool while the bolt or nut is removed
Step7 Removing the clutch plate and hub using puller
