ALTRA Men's TIMP 3 Trail Running Shoe, Dark Blue, 10 D(M) US

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been my go to shoe since the Timp 2 came out. The 1.5 was too wide for me, so LP was my go to until this came out. I have a low-volume foot but slightly wider forefoot. This shoe works well for my foot shape. Narrower feet will like this shoe. Wide feet, probably not so much. Size comparison with other Altras: It does run slightly short compared to LP and Olympus, FYI. I just ran R2R2R in Grand Canyon and Zion 100 in the same pair and they were flawless. No issues, no blisters. Definitely my favorite trail shoe right now. Giddyup.

Used these for 185 miles on the Tahoe rim trail. I Sized up a full size and this made them feel similar to the timp 1.5. Overall they were very comfy and my feet felt great the whole trail. As for durability, They started delaminating on the sides within the first mile and about 50 miles in the tow cap started peeling off. This did not effect performance however. Aside from aesthetics I anticipate these to last about 40 miles before needing replacement.
