It does what it says it is. Many adjustments. Its fairly easy to adjust. It's made of heavy duty plastic and metal. I would not rest my stocking feet on the highest position unless you have a small pillow to put your feet on. It's lightweight for the sturdy construction. Of course you can not stand on it that's why its a foot rest. It's just what I needed and folds up nice for travel.
